What the Henrie Pillow Made of?
Outer Cover
OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED, 450 THREAD COUNT ORGANIC COTTON
Even behind a pillowcase, it matters what you rest your head on. Our outer cover is made of 100% organic cotton and holds OEKO-TEX®’s global certification, recognizing its development free of harmful substances. With a higher thread count than most sheets, the tight weave of our cotton means your pillow naturally stays cleaner, for longer.
Inner Filling
GRADE-A INDONESIAN KAPOK
We used the purest grade of kapok, sourced from Indonesia. We added kapok to our memory foam filling to create a softer feeling than memory foam alone.
WHAT IS KAPOK, AND WHY IS IT GREAT FOR PILLOWS?
Our quest for the perfect pillow turned up far too much synthetic fluff. Then we found kapok: A natural, fluffy fibre that grows on the ceiba pentandra tree. A truly renewable resource, kapok trees grow without the need for additional water and its harvesting leaves no damage. A soft and conscious material that's vegan and cruelty-free, it's no wonder why kapok has been found in bedrooms for centuries. A dreamy feeling with a small footprint, kapok is proof that you can have it all.
Adjustable Inner Filling
CertiPUR-US® MEMORY FOAM
We chose a chopped memory foam to give you true support as you sleep. Henrie memory foam meets high standards for foams based on emissions and contents—including low Volatile Organic Compounds—and has been developed without ozone depleters or harmful materials. It’s a memory foam that’s better for you, and better for the planet. Since our memory foam is developed exclusively for Henrie, we also know exactly where it comes from.
Finishings

A pillow with high standards down to the very last detail, from the inside out. We’ve carefully finished Henrie pillows with conscious materials, vibrant piping along the trim, and zippers sturdy enough to withstand however many adjustments you need to prep your pillow to perfection.
